Kodak’s New Digicams
The details are a bit sketchy, but it looks like Kodak has released four new entry-level digital cameras in it’s EasyShare series (the C533, C643, V603, and Z612), and they range in price from $199 to $299 and in megapixels from 5 to 6.1.

MySpace Comes To Mobiles
I haven’t quite figured out what’s so totally cool and utterly unique about MySpace, but I guess people are so crazy about it that it’s now coming to mobile phones.

New Zagari Laptop Bags
I can barely speak, I’m so swoony. If you’ve got a spare $295 lying around (heck, even if you have to save for it, make it a priority!), you must buy this now.

Nanotech Clothing
Block toxins, kill bacteria . . . no, this isn’t the Mayo Clinic’s research lab, it’s the future of clothing.

Pentax Unleashes New Cameras For PMA
We’re starting to get overwhelmed with the number of new digicam announcements for PMA (the Photo Marketing Association trade show), but we specifically like these new ones from Pentax. I really like the Optio T10, which is fairly run-of-the-mill except for a 3-inch touch screen (touch LCD?). It will be available next month for $349.95.

Amazon Introduces Music Service & Audio Players
Big news: Amazon is in some gargantuan talks with four major music companies (Sony, EMI, Vivendi, and Warner), trying to develop a truly innovative music service. (CEO Jeff Bezos doesn’t want another iTunes.) It is also working on a self-branded Amazon music player that can be customized from retailer to retailer. (I so called this, BTW.)

Shopping Via Phone
Are you wondering if that new brand of brie cheese is any good? Or if Catwalk is better than Bed Head for curly hair? With a new Toshiba cell phone (available in Japan later this month), you’ll just have to snap a picture of a product’s barcode, and in a few seconds, you’ll get results on what everyone is saying about that product online. If possible, shopping just got even more fun.

Page Me When Dinner Is Done
This is one of the better ideas I’ve heard of. Smarthome’s Digital Timer With Removable Remote Beeper will page you when you dinner is done, and cooler yet, it also is a digital thermometer, so you can stick the temperature gauge in your prime rib and go off and garden until it alerts you that it's at juuuust the right temperature.

Cellular VoIP Phones
Nokia and Motorola have both shown them, and Sony Ericsson, Palm, and UTStarcom are all planning them, too, in a new wave of phones that must have mobile service providers shaking in their boots.
